Now, we don’t like to brag (well, maybe just a little), but we are pleased to announce the selection of This is Just Stupid as the featured Cool Site of the Day for October 10, 2008.
Long before there were cool sites of the hour, minute, second, and cool sites of the millennium, they were out there surfing the web looking for the best web sites that demonstrated notable strides in innovation, content, and design and choosing one each day that that we deemed worthy of your perusal. Today, they chose us!

Heh.
I got a “Wurst of the Web” from what was bigweenie.com (probably a porn site now) for my fortune cookie website. All it was, adding “…in your pants!” to the end of a plate full of fortune cookie fortunes.

Mind you, this was like 1997 or so, when people still used WebTV en masse and a 56k was cool. ISDN was neat, and rich guys had DSL *available* to them. If you had ANY webpage, you made hundreds of dollars a week in affiliate ads and click-throughs. Ahh the days.
Getting any award in 2009 is fantastic!
