Example of Poor Customer Service
By Just Stupid on Jun 16, 2008 in Stupid Companies
I placed an order on Amazon the other day and one of their marketplace sellers took the order. I received the wrong product. I already have 5 of these Lynksys adapters, so I am 100% sure I did not get the right product. But what is really stupid is how they responded to me. Read our email discussion for yourself. You should probably read from the bottom up. I have not changed a word, but I did edit the sellers ID so they are not too embarrased by this:

DO watever you want. I am not scared of getting negative reviews. My other customers are satisfied with me, so it wont make a difference for just one – feedback and I could do same for you. Its up to you, you bought the product and if you are not satisfied go ahead. I don’t even care because I know that I am being true to myself. But think before you do it. thanks for buying the product.

So all you plan to do is blame me? Nice customer service. I assure you the model number on your own packing slip does not match the product that came in the envelope. You sure you don’t want to change your tone before I post my review?

ITEM IN SAME AS SHOWN AND DESCRIBED IN THE AMAZON LISTINGS. YOU BOUGHT THE WRONG PRODUCT. THE PRODUCT IS BRAND NEW AND NEVER USED UNLESS ITS JUST NOT IN THE BOX DOESNT MEAN ITS USED. THE AMAZON LISTINGS ALSO DOESNT STATE THAT IT HAS TO BE IN BOX.

Just received the product. First it is not the right product – I ordered a WUSB54GS and you sent a WUSB54G (without the S). Second, I ordered a new product. This is clearly used as it was not in a box and the CD has been opened.
How do we resolve this?

We will remove Kashy from the accepted vendors list immediately. Thanks for letting us know.

report the scum to amazon and demand results. Forget the review; he doesn’t care. Amazon doesn’t like it when sellers make them look bad.

I know what you mean about crappy customer service at Amazon. I was going to set up a seller account with them…until I read their policies. I had already finished half the requirements so I wrote to them to ask that they cancel what I had done so far and explained nicely why I wished to cancel. They didn’t even read the email I sent. They just sent back some inane canned response. It took me looking for a phone number, calling and raising HE(( before they responded appropriately. No wonder some of their sellers don’t care about their customers…there will never be a backlash from Amazon for it because they don’t care.

thanks for that? i’ll make sure me or my family never buy from shitty Amazon i really do hate company’s who don’t care about their customers! without them, they wouldn’t be around. i don’t care how big a company is, once they try and screw me, i’ll never go back to them. to make a point i haven’t eaten MacDonalds in over 10 years, don’t miss the rubbery stuff anyway.
