I ordered a cake at our local Safeway for my daughter’s friend’s 16th birthday and asked for a big 16 in the center. When I picked up the cake if said “BIG 16″. Now it’s a family joke. Each birthday is “BIG”.

Okay. While this a hilarious misunderstanding, I can not understand why these comments have become a battle of who is the most grammatically correct. Anyway, I hope they got there money back.

Before criticizing others’ spelling: check your own. It’s not “capitol letter.” It is “capital.” “Capitol” refers to a city that is a seat of government (or a building that houses governmental bodies, such as the building in which the House and Senate meet in Washington DC.
