Turns out, the state has no sympathy for victims of violent crimes anymore. I sought help because I was imprisoned in my home by a guy that I was dating, who I knew since I was a teenager, and never saw any signs of abusive behavior. They took us both and locked us up, and I was released, but I'm still going through court issues, and may face charges. I’m part of the statistic.
