Big Oil Find in the USA – NOT!

There is an email circulating that provides a mix of information regarding a huge oil find in Bakken Formation. It is based on a link to the USGS site http://www.usgs.gov/newsroom/article.asp?ID=1911 which toutes a large reserve in the Western USA. But where the email goes awry is in the math behind some of it’s startling facts.
