Still trying to answer that age-old question: Which came first, the driveway or the pole?

If anyone doubts the validity of this photo, I can tell you that it is 100% true. This house is located at 413 Farm Street, Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia. I can also say that the pole was there several years before the house was built – builders constructed the house with the pole in full view! I can confirm this because I live in the same city and I work for the utility that owns the pole!

    Sorry, I forgot to add:

You can check out the place on Google Earth. the pole is located at 23deg19’47.00″S, 150deg31’50.48″E.

    Enjoy!

There is obviously enough room for a car on either side. It’s not as dumb as it looks, geez.

I don’t see why it’s such a big deal? Clearly the people living there have become used to it over the time they’re living there. And it’s not as though anyone commenting this will be going for a drive down it anytime soon… Really not that big of a deal hey

The current average statistic for how close accidents happen to you home is 2 miles… well it used to be 5 miles before these people moved into their new home.
