Two Balconies, One Makes Sense, the Other?

We continue on with our series of stupid pictures. I am at a loss to explain this. Is it photoshoped? Is it truly a mistake? Would love to hear your ideas for a caption or your thoughts on how this happened!

When we moved to Oklahoma in 1946, the house had a porch all the way around it. On the west side it had 2 doors to the outside only 8 foot apart. When dad was residing he tore down the porch and realized he did not need either door on that side of the house and covered over both of them. I wonder if the lower balcony had a window that wasn’t needed.

Maybe there were plans for a room to go there but for some reason they didn’t build it, yea i know, why a balcony first? maybe 2 different Companies possibly? Maybe it’s for looks???
