Do Environmentalists Have Misplaced Angst?

Within the "sky is falling" crowd there is a misplaced notion that humans and their machines are solely responsible for the gradual warming of our planet. This article may change some minds.
It is estimated that each of Norway’s national animals (the moose) annually emit an astounding 2100 kilos of the environmentally harmful gas, carbon dioxide, through their unregulated burping and farting. It is said that a motorist would have to drive 13,000 kilometers to emit the same amount of CO2 (and it’s only ones opinion as to which smells better.) By the way – cows pose the same problem.
Is it possible that the planetary chicken littles of the world are attempting to regulate the wrong earthly populations. Maybe they should mandate the development of a genetically altered, less gaseous, strain of vegetation for the moose to munch on or provide some other means (like strategically placed watering troughs filled with Pepto-Bismol) to settle the stomachs of Norway’s moose population. I contend that adopting creative measures now may go a long way to effectively minimize the carbon hoof-print of Norway’s national animal in the future.
Stupid? You decide.
