No Mold Gold Teeth
By Just Stupid on Nov 6, 2009 in Stupid Stuff
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that absolutely everything about these fake gold "bling" teeth makes them a really stupid product. Sure, there are some people who really love iced out jewelry but these just reek of bad taste. And the advertising that goes with them doesn’t really help their image.
What makes these teeth stupid:
- Fake gold push-on teeth are kind of stupid to begin with. I know, I know … there is a subsection of society that does think that these things are cool but the reality is that putting a grill of gold teeth over your own mouth to flash at people is not exactly on the classy side.
- They’re one size fits all. The purpose of these gold teeth as compared to most of the ones out there is that you don’t have to get a dental impression made to make them fit your mouth. Instead you’re supposed to just use the little fitting bar that they come with to get them to fit properly along your own teeth. That just reeks of problems to come. People have very different-sized mouths and teeth. If you’re really into the bling you should at least do it right and get a set of iced out teeth that actually fit you properly.
- The name is just plain ugly. Yes, the name is supposed to refer to the fact that these teeth don’t require you to get a "mold" or dental impression done of your teeth. But the poor name choice ("no mold gold teeth") just makes you think of moldy teeth. That’s just a nasty image.
Whether or not you like hip hop-inspired iced out jewelry and gold teeth doesn’t really matter. These trashy-looking press-on teeth are not the way to go!
