Take a look at the categories that we’ve got featured on this blog. It will give you a clue about some of the things that are stupid more often than they are smart. This isn’t true for all of the categories of course. For example, there is some really stupid technology out there but for the most part technology is a smart thing.

Ten of the things that we talk about which tend to be stupid more than they’re smart are:

1. Celebrities. We have to say it; there are just a lot of stupid celebrities out there. Internet celebrities are the worst!
2. Television. There’s a reason that you so often find yourself looking at five hundred channels and not seeing a single thing to watch. It’s because most television is really stupid.
3. Drivers. There are probably more smart drivers than stupid drivers. However, stupid drivers are common. And they have a terrifying impact on driving as a whole. That makes this a topic where it’s easy to find stupidity.
4. Criminals. This one goes without saying. A lot of criminals are just plain stupid. Some just happen to be more stupid than others.
5. Videos. We love YouTube. However this site and so many others like it make it possible for stupid people to post a whole lot of stupid videos. We hate having to sift through them to find good things to watch online.
6. Laws. Lawmakers often try to solve problems that they can’t solve by creating laws around them. All of these laws end up just being stupid. We know it’s not easy to find real solutions but dumb laws are not the answer!
7. Sports. The main sports that we all watch are arguably pretty cool. Then there are a bunch of newfangled sports that have no business being played.
8. Weddings. Do you realize that a cheap wedding now costs upwards of $20,000? Is there anything stupider than that?!
9. Pets. It isn’t usually the pets that are stupid; it’s the people who own these pets. Pet owners are doing some crazy things these days.
10. Stupid Men, Stupid Women and Stupid People. Let’s face it; there are a lot of dumb folks out there doing dumb things.
